Happy Christmas 2020

  18 years I have been on this here platform and a lot has happened in that time. I'm almost twice my age when I started blogging for a start.

Things have improved and things have become worse, this past year in particular has been a low point to easily surpass that of the financial crash of 2009. But 2021 looks to bring more stress and misery while we await the vaccination of the pandemic and the inevitable negative impact of Brexit.

I never thought I'd be writing about a real pandemic, only made up zombie creating one's. Life is interesting.

Here's to a more positive future in the long term, apparently.

Thought I'd best write something on here to keep it active.  My imagination is nowhere near as fertile as it was all those years ago at uni so not quite a fun now. :)  However the old stuff still makes good reading.

Long time no post!

Been away on easter holiday for the last 3 weeks.

Good football results today, Liverpool beat West Bromwich Albion 6-0, which is nice. :)

Off to watch Wasps play bath in the Parker Pen Cup on May 25th now. The game is at Readings Madjeski Stadium, should be pretty good atmosphere.

Getting another tattoo the saturday before, a simple five pointed black star, about 1 inch across, in the middle of my shoulders. Should be pretty cool.

Nowt else to really say at the moment, 'cept if you know me give me a call, Always nice to hear from friends.

2-0 to Liverpool in the Worthington (League) Cup final, against the united Mancs.

Makes a good weekend of sport for me as Wasps won also!

Good night tonight. Liverpool beat Auxerre 2-0 to go through to the UEFA Cup quarter finals to play against Celtic. Should make a good tie.

Got another excting set of lectures tomorrow, one practical and one which we haven't done at all yet. Ooh the excitment.

Looks like a couple of my posts have disappeared, oh well.

Got my inter-semester exam results today, I think I passed most of them, except analogue electronics (not sure about maths, looks ok).

Toon are winning 3-0 at the moment, England just lost to India in the ICC World Cup, gotta beat Australia now to get to the next stage.

Ho hum. Exciting lecture tomorrow by an RAF guy, not sure what it's about yet. Planes and electronics probably.

Don't think I'll last more than a year, maths is pretty hard.

Wouldn't mind working in radio or TV, quite fancy being a TV camera man.

Coldplay are brilliant.

Listening to their Parachutes album at the moment.

Ahhh............. relaxing.

Think I'll get another tattoo done.

Just got an old Arcam Alpha One CD player running into my PC. Shame it's got an old laser, skips quite a bit. Still better than Media Player.

Back from weekend off. Just seen Liverpool lose 2-1 to Birmingham, boy are we crap at the moment.

Got a video capture card for my PC, which is nice.

Back to lectures tomorrow, should be fun.
